Youth In Public Art
When I was 13 years old, I drew my very first self portrait which inspired me to peruse art as a career. shortly after, I got my first art apprenticeship as muralist at the age of 15. I cannot fully put into words the impact that having access to opportunity can have on a young adolescent, but I am living proof that the impact is overwhelmingly positive.
It is through this experience that I am inspired to leverage my access to provide art opportunities for young and aspiring artists.
below are some of the projects I was able to cultivate with community and some very talented young people.
